Setting Your Targeting & Schedule (Step 3) 🎯

Quick Overview πŸ“…

  • πŸ“ Choose Location: Local (address + radius) or National.
  • πŸ—“οΈ Set Dates: Pick future Start Date and later End Date.
  • πŸ’° Set Budget: Minimum $50; higher budget = more reach.
  • πŸ” Review & Continue: Double-check all fields, then click Next: Payment.

After finalizing the ad creative, the next step is to configure campaign settings – where, when, and how long your ad will run, and how much you will spend. On the Campaign Settings page, you'll find a form to specify targeting and scheduling options for your ad campaign.

Geographic Targeting

Choose whether you want to target your ad Locally or Nationally.

  • Local Targeting: If your business or audience is concentrated in a specific area, select the local option. You will then input a Street Address and a Radius around that address (in miles) that you want the ad to cover. Only viewers within that geographic circle will be shown your ad. Ensure the address is accurate – after entering, Adwave may internally geocode it to apply the targeting. You'll also specify the radius; Adwave allows choosing a radius in miles (there may be a minimum or default radius like 5 miles).
  • National Targeting: If your audience is broad or not location-specific, choose the national option. No address or radius is needed – the ad will be eligible to display to viewers across the country. (β€œNational” means the country of your account. For multi-country reach, create separate campaigns.)

Start and End Dates

Set the Start Date and End Date for your campaign.

  • Start Date must be in the future.
  • End Date must be after the Start Date.
  • Adwave may pre-fill suggestions (e.g., tomorrow start, two-week duration).
  • You can extend or create a new campaign later, but an end date is always required.

Budget

Enter the total budget (USD) you are willing to spend.

  • Minimum budget: $50.00.
  • Higher budgets reach more viewers; Adwave won't exceed your set amount.
  • As you adjust, Adwave shows an estimated reach.
  • Budget is total for the entire campaign; the system paces spend between dates.

Reviewing Settings

Before continuing, double-check:

  • πŸ“ Address & radius (if local) or that National is intentional.
  • πŸ—“οΈ Dates are correct and in the right order.
  • πŸ’° Budget meets or exceeds $50 and matches your plan.

When everything is correct, click Continue or Next: Payment to save these settings and move forward.
