Sign Up Process
To start using Adwave, you need to create an account. On the sign-up page, you will be asked to enter your email address and phone number, and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. After clicking Continue, Adwave will send you a 6-digit verification code (OTP) to both your email and phone via SMS for security. Enter this code in the verification field. Once verified, your new account is created and you'll be automatically signed in. By default, Adwave creates a personal account just for you when you sign up β this is your individual workspace where you're the only member initially.
Password Setup (Optional)
Adwave uses passwordless login by default, meaning you can sign in with a code sent to your email/phone. However, after your first login, you have the option to set a password for convenience. On the post-signup confirmation screen, you'll see an option to create a password. This step is optional but recommended. If you choose to set a password, enter and confirm a secure password (minimum 8 characters) and submit. You'll see a success message once your password is set, and you may need to log in again using the new password for it to take effect. After setting a password, you can log in using your email and password going forward. If you prefer not to set a password, you can continue using the code-based login any time.
Logging In
To log into Adwave later, go to the Sign In page. If you set a password, you can enter your email and password. If you did not set a password or prefer not to use it, click "Sign in with a code" (or a similarly labeled link) to use the passwordless method. You will provide your email (or phone) and Adwave will send a fresh OTP code to verify your identity, just like during sign-up. Entering the correct code will sign you in securely. (Note: The code is time-sensitive and valid for one use. If it expires or you don't receive it, you can request a new one.)
Invitations and Team Sign-Up
Adwave may be used collaboratively through team accounts (more on that below). If someone invites you to join their Adwave team, you will receive an invitation link via email. Clicking the invite link will prompt you to either sign in (if you already have an Adwave account) or sign up if you're new. If you're new, you'll go through the same verification process described above, and then gain access to the team that invited you. If you already have an account, simply log in and you'll see a page to accept the invitation. Accepting adds you to the team's account with the role you were assigned by the inviter. Once accepted, you can seamlessly switch into that team's workspace. (If an invite link is not working or has been used already, contact the person who invited you to resend it.) When you accept an invite, Adwave will automatically create your personal account (if it didn't exist yet) and then add you to the team account.
Personal vs Team Accounts
By default, every user gets a Personal Account (solo account) for their own use. You can create ad campaigns in your personal account or later create a team account to collaborate with others. Team accounts allow multiple users to work together on ad campaigns. Personal accounts cannot be shared (you're the sole member), and they cannot be deleted (to ensure you always have a default workspace). Team accounts, on the other hand, can have multiple members and can be managed or removed by the owner.
